Celebrating the splendor and majesty of one of the most beautiful places in the world, this unique show, part of the Portland Fashion Week Runway Show 2014, joins outstanding designers of jewelry, garments, and accessories with the skills and talents of local fashion, make-up, and photography artists.Tylar Merrill is a fiber artist based in Eugene, Oregon, who has been creating felt art and teaching fashion design for over 30 years. She offers classes for both beginner and advanced/master students, using a wide variety of felting techniques and applications. Tylar approaches felt making intuitively, being open to the unexpected, and always aiming to have fun.Her fashion collection includes a wide range and styles of garments and accessories based on the nuno felting technique. All designs are original and are made from start to finish in her studio, Thimbleberry Felt Designs, located in Eugene, Oregon.
